Catawba County Health Partners Gaining Visibility

Volunteers for CCHP

Catawba County Health Partners (CCHP) has been busy raising awareness about the new partnership and its health focuses in the community. From January to June of 2005 volunteers and Catawba County Public Health staff have educated 1,700 people through fourteen programs and health fairs across Catawba County on access to care, obesity, and substance abuse issues. Volunteers have put forth over 300 hours and they serve as the foundation for this partnership. It is their willingness and commitment to these health priorities that will make a difference in the quality of life for people living and working in Catawba County.
